Care InstructionsDon’t be afraid to wear your cashmere, it becomes softer with age. Due to it's softness and fine natural fibres you may find your cashmere starts to pill or bobble after a few wears. These small balls are caused by some of the loose fibres rubbing together, normally under the arms. Pilling doesn't indicate inferior quality cashmere it is simply the result of wearing such a fine fibre. The bobbles can be easily removed either by carefully picking the balls off by hand, by using a cashmere comb or de-pilling device. Once you have removed the pilling, your cashmere will increase in softness. Cashmere can be dry cleaned or hand washed. Hand Washing CashmereWe recommend hand washing your garments. Turn your garment inside out and soak in soapy lukewarm water (30 degrees) for a few minutes, then gently massage to let the suds soak through the fibres. Rinse in lukewarm water repeating the gentle massage until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze the garment to remove water. Never wring your cashmere garment. Reshape and lay it flat on a towel away from direct sunlight and heat to dry. |
